Short films are often regarded as a calling card for talent. The opportunity to showcase at film festivals across the globe is a significant advantage for anybody wishing to work on a full length feature. If the film is a calling card for the feature, then the poster is the calling card for the short. Most of the posters are delivered on a limited budget, reflecting the nature of a short film, often made on a shoe-string budget and pulling in favours from friends and family. My own work thrives on a vibrant film market and I’ll try and accommodate projects that nourish and vitalise the medium.
