These are images that appeared either as magazine covers, editorial or feature illustrations. Budgets have decreased over these past few years and it’s always a struggle to maintain quality under the duel pressures of a deadline and limited fee. That being said, this can often result in vibrant and powerful print.
The earliest images represented here, dates back to the early 1980s when I was a regular contributor to the New Musical Express (NME), in the 1990s the paper later began using colour and gave me a chance to experiment with techniques that allowed me to work fast and produce maximum colour impact.
